Submission of comments to the DOE/AE Compilation of submitted inputs:
(1) Table 4 and Table 3 in the PDD: It is not clear how a coal based power plant of 130MW aggregate capacity (Table 4) will produce same net electricity output (943,540MWh) as a gas based power project of same capacity. This information is mis-leading.

(2) Why is EGC calculated using IEA specified formula? What is the benchmark electricity generation cost provided by PLN for other natural gas based projects in Indonesia? The appropriate benchmark should be thar rate of return estimated by PLN since PLN controls the Indonesian generation and distribution market and is also the nodal government authority for electricity in Indonesia.

(3) Why is geothermal not a plausible alternative, given that Indonesia already has a registered geothermal project?
