Gezhouba Won RMB 760M Dam Construction Contract

China Gezhouba Group (600068) won a RMB 760 million contract from Sichuan Huadian Mulihe Hydropower Development, reports Securities Times. The contract is for the construction of the dam for the Mulihe Kajiwa hydropower plant; construction period is 43 months. The hydropower plant is located in Muli County in Sichuan. According to Gezhouba, the contract will not have a material impact on its profits in 2009, but should contribute to profits in the coming years.
