1. The DOE is requested to further validate that there are no cost savings resulting from the steam and electricity supplied from the project activity to the sugar mill or other costs savings related to the implementation of the “reference plant”. In doing so please refer to the VVM version 1.2, paragraph 111. 2. The DOE shall further validate the net electricity generated by the project activity to be exported to the grid, the plant load factor and the electricity considered as auxiliary consumption as per paragraph 111 of the VVM version 1.2 and EB 48, Annex 11. 3. The DOE is requested to clarify how the energy demand, in the absence of the project activity, met. In doing so the DOE shall further validate the total thermal and electrical energy demand sugar mill operating at full capacity in line with ACM0006, version 10. 4. The DOE is requested to clarify how it has validated that the “reference plant” using 21bar able to meet the thermal and electrical energy demand of the sugar mill operating at full addition, the DOE is requested to further validate how the project activity complies requirements of the scenario 4 of the methodology ACM0006, version 10, in particular that type and quantity of biomass residues should be used by the project and reference plants. |
