Additional information | |
1. The DOE is required to further explain what is the capacity and power generation potential for the proposed project activity since the PDD indicates three different values. Also, the DOE should explain the suitability of the 30% additional capital expenses assumed in the IRR calculation. 2. The DOE should provide the spreadsheets showing all calculations with the formulae for the investment analysis, sensitivity analysis, benchmark calculation and emission reduction calculations. 3. The DOE is requested to further substantiate the suitability of a beta value of March 2004 while the starting date of the project activity is January 2007. 4. The DOE is requested to further explain why the electricity demand projection for the cement works was calculated for the period 2007-2016. According to the methodology section 1.B. (i) the Ecement projection should be presented over the crediting period (2009-2019); also there is an increasing trend observed in the electricity demand for cement work (Ecement, period 2004-2006), which has not been taken into account while analyzing baseline electricity options. |
