1. The DOE should further clarify how it has validated the appropriateness of the input values to the investment analysis in line with the requirements of the VVM para. 109 & 112. In doing this the DOE shall document and independently cross check each input value applied, including the numbers itself. 2. The DOE should clarify how it has validated the significant changes made to the investment analysis assumptions between the PDD published for GSC and the PDD submitted for registration. 3. The DOE should further substantiate the first-of-its-kind barrier faced by the project activity, including the advantages of the new technology compared to the alternatives already implemented in Brazil. 4. The DOE should further explain how it has validated the elimination of the alternatives to the baseline scenario, considering that the prevailing practice barrier indicates that these alternative technologies are already implemented in similar slaughterhouses in the host country. 5. The DOE should clarify how it has validated the significant changes made to the baseline assumptions between the PDD published for GSC and the PDD submitted for registration. 6. The PP/DOE are requested to correct the blank tables contained in the PDD (Sec. B.5 and B.6) |
