The DOE is requested to clarify: 1. The reasons for the repeated failures of the analysers as observed in this and the past verifications; 2. What systematic measures are in place to ensure the quality of the monitored data during analyser down times, and 3. How the PP demonstrated that the destruction facility was operational at normal efficiency for the period when the analysers were out of operation (01/07/08 to 12/07/08, and 29/07/08 to 31/07/08).
