1) 1) For verification of the parameter "Number of operational cooking stoves" (n) the DOE has determined a sample size of 68 users based on the “General guidelines for sampling and surveys for small-scale project activities (Version 01)” EB50 Annex 30 and also crosschecked it with the "Standard for sampling and surveys for CDM project activities and Programme of Activities (Version 02.0), EB65 Annex 2. It is noted that the DOE has considered an absolute precision of 10% when calculating the required sample size. Besides, the DOE carried out onsite verification of 8 solar cookers and interviewed 60 users via telephone. Therefore, the DOE is requested to further substantiate how it has considered the sample size to be appropriate and also on what basis it has considered the use of telephone interviews to be in accordance with VVM version 1.2 paragraph 180 guidance. 2) For verification of the parameters "Monthly operating hours of each solar cooker" (t), the DOE indicated that they crosschecked the records taken by the PP (309 householders). Nevertheless, it is not clear how the DOE determined that only cross-checking with the records is sufficient to verify this parameter.  Please refer to VVM 1.2 paragraph 180 guidance and EB 65,Annex 2 paragraph 24 guidance.
