1.The spreadsheet of the monitoring report indicates that temperature of the exhaust gases of the flare (Tflare) is above the 700 degrees Celsius during most of the monitoring period. Further clarification is required on how the DOE verified the use of default values based on the conditions specified in the “Tool to determine project emissions from flaring gases containing methane.” and associated clarification (AM_CLA_0047) provided by the Board on this matter. (Other issues) 2. Information on the calibration dates should be provided in both the MR and verification report. 3. The DOE in page 22 of the verification report states that “Baseline emissions have been estimated ex-ante and were not monitored and used for actual emission reduction calculations”. Further clarification is required.
