Additional information | |
1. The DOE is requested to validate the suitability of the simple cost analysis approach to prove the additionality of the proposed project activity in line with the “Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality”, version 5.2, sub-step 2(a) and VVM, version 1.2, paragraph 109. 2. The DOE is requested to further validate the accuracy and suitability of the parameters used for the simple cost analysis in line with VVM, version 1.2, paragraph 111, in particular the cost of equipment considered. 3. The DOE is requested to explain how it has validated the compliance of the monitoring plan with the requirements of the methodology AMS III.G, version 6 and “Tool to determine methane emissions avoided from disposal of waste at a solid waste disposal site” version 5.1.0, for the following parameters: i) amount of waste disposed in the landfill during the crediting period; ii) composition of waste disposed in the landfill during the crediting period; iii) samples collected to determine the composition of waste disposed in the landfill during the crediting period; and iv) electricity consumed by the project activity. 4. The DOE shall provide their assessment of whether the means of implementation of the monitoring plan, including the data management, quality assurance and quality control procedures, are sufficient to ensure that the emission reductions achieved by the project activity can be reported ex post and verified, in particular for the flare efficiency as per VVM version 1.2, paragraph123(b). |
