Additional information | |
1) The DOE shall further substantiate how the project fulfils the applicability condition of the applied methodology (bullet no.3, page 2) which states that "the injection of any gases into the oil reservoir and its production system is allowed in the project activity only for the purpose of gas-lift process", wheares the recovered gas from the oil field was found re-injected into the oil reservoir. In doing so, the PP/DOE shall further elaborate 1) the purpose of storage of the re-injected gas and 2) how the PP/DOE is assured that the re-injection of the associated gas will not occur after the start date of the crediting period (01/01/2014) or/and during the operation of the project activity. Please refer to VVM (version 1.2), paragraph 70 - 75; AM0009, version 5 (bullet no.3, page 2). 2) The DOE shall further validate why the injection of associated gas into the reservoir (G4) has been eliminated from the baseline scenario identification considering the fact that the recovered gas has been found injected into the oil reservoir in absence of the project activity. In doing so, the PP/DOE shall provide more information on whether the communication between the gas injection well and the oil production wells will continue or not during the implementation of the project activity given that the risk of gas recycling has been observed according to the technical study carried out in August 2012. Please refer to VVM (version 1.2), paragraph 83. |
