Additional information | |
1. The DOE is requested to provide information on the: (i) quantity of rice husk internally generated/year by the manufacturing plant and (ii) quantity of rice husk that is used for polishing in the rice manufacturing process. 2. Further clarification is sought if the used rice husk (after the rice polishing process) can be further used as an energy source in the biomass based boiler. 3. Further clarification is sought on how the DOE has validated that the rice husk internally generated after the expansion of the rice manufacturing process by 0.6 million bags/year (PDD, p3) would not be sufficient for internal energy consumption and that the project participants would have to rely on purchase of the rice husk. 4. Further clarification is sought how the DOE has validated the technical barriers as the sources referred to are not project specific or country specific. Further the DOE should clarify if in the absence of the investment analysis, it considers the project activity additional based on technical barriers. |
