Please indicate reasons for the request for review
1) The total emission reduction of 60,569 tCO2 verified by the DOE during this monitoring period is higher than those estimated for same period in the PDD, which was 35,474 tCO2. The DOE verified that the increase is due to the higher COD value of 76.76 kgCOD/m3 in the palm oil mill effluent (POME) as compared to estimated COD value in the PDD is 52.00 kgCOD/m3, and reduced flaring activities from an estimation of 15% in the PDD to a rate of 0.4% for the monitoring period. The DOE reported that none of the data and/or variable affects the additionality, scale or applicability of the project, and hence no notification has been submitted to the EB (page 11 of the VR). However, it is unclear how the DOE can arrive such conclusion as relevant justifications has not been provided. The DOE is thus requested to conduct an assessment on the potential impacts due to these changes. Please refer to VVM version 1.2 paragraph 197..
