In the monitoring report, PP indicated that the CO2 emission factor for Coal used in the project activity has been considered as 95.81 tCO2/TJ as per IPCC 2006 guidelines. However, this value is not matching with the IPCC 2006 default value for sub-bituminous coal (96.1 tCO2/TJ). DOE shall clarify how it has verified the suitability of the CO2 emission factor of coal used in the monitoring report. Also the DOE shall clarify how it has verified the NCV of coal used in the project activity.
