Call for public inputs on methodologies for small-scale CDM project activities that propose the switch from non-renewable biomass to renewable biomass
In accordance with the
decision by the COP/MOP ("Further guidance relating to the clean development mechanism" - paragraph 29 and 30)
the Board agreed to open a call for public input for "proposals for methodologies for small-scale clean development mechanism
project activities that propose the switch from non-renewable biomass to renewable biomass, addressing issues related to leakage,
differentiation between renewable and non-renewable biomass and consistency with
paragraph 7 (a) of decision 17/CP.7"
to be submitted to the Secretariat between 15 January and 16 April 2007.
Furthermore, the Board requested the
SSC WG to consider the submitted proposals with the view to recommending a proposal for
consideration by the Board at its thirty-second meeting.
