Call for public input on the revision of the methodology "ACM0018: Electricity generation from biomass in power-only plants", (11 October to 25 October 2019, 23:59 CEST)

The Methodologies Panel (MP) is seeking inputs on the methodology “ACM0018: Electricity generation from biomass in power-only plants", as contained in MP 80 Annex 04

The work was carried out in the context of the mandate to revise the methodology ACM0006 to address inconsistencies and ambiguities in the language used therein and revise the methodologies AM0036 and ACM0018 to ensure consistency across biomass methodologies. (EB 102, para.41). The proposed revision considers, where appropriate, the possibility of using approaches of other mechanisms relevant to this type of methodology.

The scope of the public input included but was not limited to the highlighted text.

Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the Methodology in the commenting table found here.

The call for inputs from stakeholders is open (11 October to 25 October 2019, 23:59 CEST)

The public inputs will be taken into account when preparing the final draft of the Methodology to be considered at the next MP meeting.
