Call for input on the revision of ACM0017: "Production of biodiesel for use as fuel" (27 October to 11 November 2016, 24:00 GMT)

The MP and SSC WG were jointly seeking inputs on the revision of

ACM0017: “Production of biodiesel for use as fuel”, as contained in MP71 Annex 6

The Board requested the MP an SSC WG at its eighty-fifth meeting (EB85 report, para. 44) to work on the following areas

a)    Explore the broadening of the applicability of the existing methodologies beyond captive fleets;

b)    Explore the broadening of the applicability of the existing biodiesel methodology to cover bio-ethanol, bio-methanol and biogas.

Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the draft revision of the methodology in the commenting table found here.

The scope of the public input shall include but is not limited to text highlighted in the draft revision of the methodology.

The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 27 October to 11 November 2016 (24:00 GMT).

The public inputs will be taken into account when preparing the draft revised methodologies to be recommended to the Board at a future meeting.
