Call for public input on the draft revision of "ACM0002: Grid-connected electricity generation from renewable sources" (12 to 27 February 2014, 24:00 GMT).

The Methodologies Panel sought inputs on the top-down revision of "ACM0002: Grid-connected electricity generation from renewable sources".

Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the draft revision of the methodology, as contained in annex 8 of the report of the 62nd meeting of the Methodologies Panel.

The scope of the public input shall include but is not limited to the text highlighted in the draft revised methodology and to the specific question below.

The stakeholders were welcome to comment on possible inclusion of measures to increase the load factor (i.e. increase in electricity generation) of existing hydro power plant(s) under ACM0002 through, for example, adding single or multiple reservoirs or increasing capacity of existing single or multiple reservoirs. A method for the determination of baseline electricity generation considering the correlation between the increased electricity generation and increased water availability may also be proposed.

The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 12 to 27 February 2014 (24:00 GMT).

The inputs from this call will be considered at the sixty-third meeting of the Methodologies Panel.
