Call for public inputs on draft revised tool "Estimation of carbon stocks and change in carbon stocks of trees and shrubs in A/R CDM project activities" (24 May 2013 to 24 June 2013, 24:00 GMT)

At its eighth session the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) requested the Executive Board of the clean development mechanism (the Board) to consider use of more cost-effective approaches in afforestation/reforestation methodologies, including the use of remote sensing for monitoring.

In accordance with the CMP request, the Board is now seeking inputs from stakeholders and other interested members of the public on the draft revision of the tool "Estimation of carbon stocks and change in carbon stocks of trees and shrubs in A/R CDM project activities".

Stakeholders are encouraged to provide their inputs using the comment sheet available here.
