Call for input on possible changes to CDM modalities and procedures

At its eighth session this year, the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP) requested the Executive Board of the clean development mechanism (Board) to submit recommendations on possible changes to the modalities and procedures of the clean development mechanism (CDM) drawing upon the experience gained by the Board, the secretariat and stakeholders in the implementation of the CDM for consideration by SBI 38 in June.

In accordance with the CMP's request, the Board is now seeking inputs from stakeholders on recommendations on any possible changes to the modalities and procedures of the CDM, based on the experience gained by stakeholders in the implementation of the CDM.

The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 17 December 2012 until 23 January 2013.

Stakeholders were invited to provide their input by using the comment sheet and kindly requested to submit a Word version of the comment sheet wherever possible.
