Call for inputs on the revision of the A/R methodological tool "Estimation of carbon stocks and change in carbon stocks of trees and shrubs in A/R CDM project activities" (23 July to 22 August 2012, 24:00 GMT).

The Board, at its sixty-eighth meeting, agreed to launch a call for public input on the revision of the A/R methodological tool "Estimation of carbon stocks and change in carbon stocks of trees and shrubs in A/R CDM project activities" (Version 02.1.0) (Annex 3 of the 36th meeting report of the A/R WG)

Stakeholders are invited to provide their input based on the questionnaire (Annex 4 of the 36th meeting report of the A/R WG). The scope of questions includes:

• (a) General suggestions for improvement and editorial comments on the draft document;
• (b) Specific and technical issues concerning the two methods for accounting and monitoring carbon removals in living biomass the stock change method and (ii) the increment method;
• (c) Other comments/inputs.

Comments and inputs to the above should be provided by use of the commenting table located in the questionnaire. Stakeholders are encouraged to submit supplementary/explanatory documents as required when responding to question (b).

The call was open from 23 July to 22 August 2012 (24:00 GMT).
