Call for public input on the methodology "AMS-III.D.: Methane recovery in animal manure management systems", (1 to 15 October 2025, 23:59 CEST).

The Methodologies Panel (MP) is seeking inputs on the on the methodology “AMS-III.D.: Methane recovery in animal manure management systems” (ver. 22.0), as contained in MP 98 Annex 2.

 The work is being carried out in response to the mandate by the Board at EB 116 (EB 116 meeting report, para. 33) to address fugitive methane emissions from biogas digesters and the use of the updated methods by the IPCC.

Stakeholders are invited to provide their inputs on the proposed revision of the methodology in the commenting table found here.

The call for inputs from stakeholders is open from 1 to 15 October 2025, 23:59 CEST.
