Call for input on revised methodology ACM0019: "N2O abatement from nitric acid production" (28 July to 11 August 2017, 24:00 GMT)

The Methodologies Panel (MP) was seeking inputs on the revised methodology ACM0019: "N2O abatement from nitric acid production", as contained in MP 73 Annex 14

The Board requested the MP at its ninety-fourth meeting (EB94 report, para 40) to revise the methodology, to further clarify the definition of the historical baseline

emission factor for projects that had previously applied AM0028 or AM0034 during the first crediting period.

The scope of the public input included but was not limited to the highlighted text.

Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the methodology in the commenting table found here.

The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 28 July to 11 August 2017, 24:00 GMT.

The public inputs will be taken into account when preparing the final draft methodology to be recommended to the Board at a future meeting.
