Call for input on the draft "methodology for energy efficient refrigerators and air-conditioners" (28 July to 11 August 2017, 24:00 GMT)

The Methodologies Panel (MP) and Small Scale Working Group was seeking inputs on the draft “methodology for energy efficient refrigerators and air-conditioners” as contained in MP 73 Annex 05

The Board requested the MP and the SSC WG to develop standards with a methodological framework for specific project types for the development of standardized baselines (EB85 report, para. 39), considered the draft new tool at EB94 and requested further work (EB94 report, para. 35). The Board requested the MP and the SSC WG to develop a new methodology, compatible with the new tool mentioned above.

The scope of the public input included but was not limited to the highlighted text.

Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the tool and the methodology  in the commenting table found here.

The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 28 July to 11 August 2017, 24:00 GMT.

The public inputs will be taken into account when preparing the final draft tool and the methodology to be recommended to the Board at a future meeting.
