Call for input on the draft revision of the methodology "AMS-III.AH: Shift from high carbon intensive fuel mix ratio to low carbon intensive fuel mix ratio" (1 April to 12 May 2015, 24:00 GMT)
The SSC WG sought inputs on the top-down revision of the approved methodology:
“AMS-III.AH: Shift from high carbon intensive fuel mix ratio to low carbon intensive fuel mix ratio”
The draft revision was carried out in response to MAP project 223 “Simplification of methodologies including digitization to reduce transaction costs”, as per the 2015 workplan of the SSC WG.
The draft revision includes:
(a) A simplified monitoring procedure for project activities where the energy output cannot be directly measured;
(b) Simplified monitoring and baseline emissions estimation procedures for element processes with annual emission reductions of less than or equal to 600 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the draft revisions of the methodologies, as contained in annex 5 of the report of the 47th meeting of the SSC WG. Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs in the commenting table found here.
The scope of the public input shall include but is not limited to text highlighted in the draft revised methodology, as contained in annex 5 of the report of the 47th meeting of the SSC WG.
The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 1 April to 12 May 2015, 24:00 GMT.
