Call for input on the revision of the methodologies "AMS-I.G, AMS-I.H, AMS-III.T, AMS-III.AK" (16 May to 31 May 2014, 24:00 GMT)
The SSC WG sought inputs on the top-down revision of the approved methodologies:
- “AMS-I.G: Plant oil production and use for energy generation in stationary applications”
- “AMS-I.H: Biodiesel production and use for energy generation in stationary applications”
- “AMS-III.T: Plant oil production and use for transport applications”
- “AMS-III.AK: Biodiesel production and use for transport applications”
The draft revisions remove the applicability conditions related to land use and project emission calculations related to the cultivation of biomass, remove the restriction for application of the methodologies in PoAs and include reference to the approved tools.
Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs on the draft revision of the methodologies, as contained in annexes 7 to 10 of the report of the 44th meeting of the SSC WG. Stakeholders were invited to provide their inputs in the commenting table found here..
The scope of the public input shall include but is not limited to text highlighted in the draft revised methodologies, as contained in annexes 7 to 10 of the report of the 44th meeting of the SSC WG.
The call for inputs from stakeholders was open from 16 May to 31 May 2014 (24:00GMT).
The inputs from this call will be considered at the forty-fifth meeting of the SSC WG.
