Call for public inputs on the possible introduction of the concepts of materiality and level of assurance in the clean development mechanism
The Executive Board at its fifty-sixth meeting agreed to the need for consultation with relevant stakeholders on the draft Standard on the use of the concept of materiality and level of assurance in the "clean development mechanism" (142 KB) that is currently under consideration by the Board.
The Board specially requests inputs on the following:
(a) Threshold of the application of materiality;The inputs to this call will be considered at future meetings of the Board.
(b) Scope of the application of materiality; and
(c) How to implement in practice the concept in CDM.
This call for public inputs was open from 17 September 2010 until 15 October 2010 (24:00 GMT).
