The DOE is requested to include information on how it has validated the input values to the financial calculations as per VVM v 1.2 paragraph 114 (a).
It is observed that some parts of the existing hydro-power plant, such as the pump, the transformer, the turbine runner etc. were replaced during the refurbishment as mentioned in table 1&2 of the feasibility study. The DOE shall provide validation opinion on any booking value or market value which should be claimed from the replaced parts and be considered as the cash inflow in the investment analysis given that the existing plant should have been in operation for another 20 years in absence of the project activity.
