The DOE is requested to describe how it has validated the suitability of the input values used in the financial calculations as per VVS version 2 paragraphs 120 and 123 (a).
It is noted that 1) the geographical coordinates (longitude 98°14 57.97 E and latitude 25°09 8.19 N) of the dam of the project activity in the PDD corresponds to the coordinate of the dam of the project activity CDM number 8319 and 2) the newly built reservoir at full water level for both project activities is 276,535 m2. The DOE is required to clarify how it validated the project financial calculation including investment cost and O&M cost considering that 1) it seems that these two project activities share the dam and the reservoir and 2) the DOE did not provide any information on this issue in the validation report.
