Submission incomplete:
1: The PP/DOE are requested to describe on identification of baseline scenario(s) in the PDD as per PS version 1 paragraphs 41-46.
The PDD, page 4 states that "the project proponent has considered the lifetime period of the 15 years from the start date of the project activity" Further, the DOE has validated that "the third party certificate prescribes the technical lifetime of project activity as 15 years.”
However, the PDD/validation report do not contain information on how the point in time at which the baseline equipment would have been replaced in the absence of the project activity has been estimated in accordance with paragraph 8 of the applied methodology, AMS-II.C v.14 and the "Tool to determine the remaining lifetime of equipment".

2: The PP/DOE are requested to describe in the PDD the procedure taken to demonstrate additionality of the project activity as per PS version 1 paragraphs 48, 49 and 96.
The PDD, page 11 states that “this project activity is an energy efficiency initiative by Mobinil in their BTS Towers installed in Egypt”, and that “BTSs are used to operate/provide the telecom service”. Further, the validation report, page 19 states that Mobinil is one of the leading telecommunication companies in the host country”. The DOE is requested to provide further information on how it has assessed that the end users of this energy efficiency measure are households/communities/SMEs, in accordance with paragraph 9 of the tool “Demonstrating additionality of microscale project activities” v.06.

3: The PP/DOE are requested to list in the PDD all the data and parameters to be monitored as required by the applied methodology(ies) as per PS version 1 paragraph 55.
The PDD, page 19 states that “during maintenance and other BTS-downtime operations, the duration of time when the BTS is switched off, is noted in a log and the records are checked at the end of the year. Effect of reduction in hours will equally affect both baseline and project emission calculation. So that for the calculation purpose, number of operating hours is considered as 8760. Data is monitored one time only (Ex-ante) and will be considered as same for the entire crediting period.”
The PP/DOE are requested to provide information on how the operating hours will be monitored and considered in accordance with paragraph 31 of AMS-II.C v.14.
