The DOE is requested to state if all the documents/data used in the PDD for the emission reduction calculations are correctly quoted and interpreted in the PDD as per VVM v1.2 paragraph 92.
The validation report does not contain any assessment of the energy balance of the project, i.e balance between inputs and outputs. The DOE has not reported how it has assessed that the 578,000 t of biomass (eucalyptus branch, eucalyptus trunk, eucalyptus residual and eucalyptus root) consumed per year are equivalent to 600,000 MWh/year electricity production.
