1: The PP/DOE are requested to list the data and parameters used to calculate the emission reductions as per EB 48 Annex 60 paragraph 10 (a).
The PP/DOE are requested to list the data and parameters used to calculate the emission reductions as per EB 48 Annex 60 paragraph 10 (a).
In doing so: i) PP/DOE shall explain and document transparently in the PDD the quantities and types of biomass to be used during the crediting period, in particular the quantity of SCG. ii) PP/DOE shall clarify the inconsistency in the PDD regarding to the expected amount of rice husk that will be consumed in the project activity, page 13 states 13,351.8 tons per year and page 30 states 14,771.65 tons per year, (Please refer to methodology para 44).

2: The DOE is requested to state if the PDD provides a clear description of the baseline scenario(s) which includes description of the technology and the activities that would take place in the absence of the project activity as per VVM v1.2 paragraph 86.
In doing so: DOE shall further evidence how it was validated the baseline scenario, in particular that all credible scenarios have been identified, considering that the coffee manufacturing facility has already installed a co-firing boiler in phase I.

3: The DOE is requested to state whether the data and parameters are conservative and appropriate if they are fixed ex-ante (not need to monitor) during the project activity crediting period as per VVM v1.2 paragraph 91.
In doing so: i) DOE shall further evidence how the PLF complies with the Guidelines for the Reporting and Validation of Plant Load Factors.
ii) DOE shall further evidence how it was validated the quantities and type of biomass to be used during the crediting period (Please refer to methodology para 44).

4: The DOE is requested to provide information on how it has assessed the credibility of the barrier analysis as per VVM v 1.2 paragraph 118.
In doing so: i) DOE shall further evidence how the risk of technological failure prevents the implementation of the proposed project activity, considering that the technology supplier is Thermax Limited, which is worldwide company with extensive experience in the sector. (Please refer to EB50 Annex 13, para 5 and 7). ii) DOE shall further evidence the availability of specific technology to be implemented in the Project activity, in particular that the applied technology is not comparable with the technology applied in the 15 CDM projects identified by the DOE/PP in Vietnam.
