Submission incomplete:
1: The PP/DOE are requested to indicate the reference and the versions of the applied methodology in the PDD as per EB 48 Annex 60 paragraph 10 (a).
The submission date of request for registration of the project is 10/09/2012, while the applied “Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality version 5.2” is valid until 25/07/2012 and the “Tool to determine project emissions from flaring gases containing methane version 01” is valid until 19/07/2012. The PP shall use valid version of “Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality” and “Project emissions from flaring” at the submission of registration request.
2: The DOE is requested to include information on how it has validated the input values to the financial calculations as per VVM v 1.2 paragraph 114 (a).
On page 14 of PDD, the PP states that para 1d) of the methodology is applicable to the proposed project since the proposed project will substitute some anaerobic lagoons in baseline scenario, which is evidenced by site plan layout and valdiated by the DOE (page 18 of FVR). However, in the NPV calculation sheet, the investment cost and O&M cost of lagoons in both scenarios are same. The PP/DOE is requested to address the inconsistency.
