Info Report Check
Submission incomplete:
1: The DOE is requested to explain how it verified the emission reductions calculation, in particular:
(a) The "System's residual capacity at the end of monitoring period (Ltrs)" shown in column AL of sheet "Sales Databse-CERPD2". The formula does not reflect the residual capacity at the end of the monitoring period, i.e. it does not subtract the total water consumption from the residual capacity from previous MP and any additional capacity;
(b) In light of issue (a) above, the "Residual capacity from previous MP (Ltrs)" shown in column AB of sheet "Sales Databse-CERPD2", whether the values have been correctly determined;
(c) The achieved precision/reliability. The formula to calculate the reliability/achieved precision is found not correct. For examples, it does not include z-value but include a factor of 0.5, and it compares the achieved precision with z-value;
(d) The "Cumulative treatment capacity of the system based on # units installed / supplied (Ltrs)" shown in column AH of sheet "Sales Databse-CERPD2". The values do not reflect the actual installed unit. For example, it is observed that the S.No. 273 has installed 2 units of UltraFLO, but the cumulative treatment capacity (column AH) is 340,000 L, which is for 1 unit;
(e) The "Total Distributed Water Purification Systems (Ty,i)" shown in in column AD of sheet "Sales Databse-CERPD2". The formula always defines the value as 1 for UltraTAB regardless the number of units supplied shown under column E;
(f) The "Person / Equipment (Ny,i)" shown in column AE of sheet "Sales Databse-CERPD2". The formula includes figures '3150' which purpose is not explained;
(g) The application of statement on page 36 of verification report ("the CME has also applied formula in the ER sheet to ensure that the Ny,I multiplied by Ry,i does not exceed the maximum output of the unit [per unit]") which is as per the same provision reported in the monitoring report page 20. It is not clear how and where such provision has been applied in the ER sheet;
(h) The operation days considered in the ER calculation. The operation days include non-school days, whereas the ER calculation considers both boarding and non-boarding persons.
Refer to paragraph 358 of VVS-PoA.

2: The verification report page 9 states that the verification team selected the sample size as 11 institutions for the purpose of e-site inspection institution visit to check the acceptability of CME’s sampling results or otherwise. However, page 6 and last paragraph of page 9 of the same document state that 11 system were checked. The DOE is requested to provide clarification. Refer to paragraph 374(c) of VVS-PoA.
