Submission incomplete:
1: The DOE is requested to further clarify the status of the implementation of the project activity as per the time of verification for the requested monitoring period (01/01/2018 to 31/12/2020) considering that; (1) during phase 1 of the implementation of the project activity a new boiler of 45.466 MW was installed; however, date of such installation seems to be missing in the VR , and (2) it is not clear whether the 5 boilers (total capacity of 17.2 MW) initially part of the project description have been operating during this monitoring period; if so, please state which of the boilers were in operation and when such operation occur. Refer to VR, pp.3-4.

In doing so, the PP is requested to update the Project scenario diagram, shown in page 9 of the revised Monitoring report, which should reflect all the equipment utilized during this monitoring period. E.g.: the backup boilers and the new boiler or boilers as the current diagram shows 1 backup boiler and 2 new boilers.


2: The PP/DOE are requested to:
a) include the formulae for the calculation of the steam generation shown in the sheets Energy Report 2018, Energy Report 2018-2019, Energy Report 2019-2020 and Energy Report 2020. In particular, related to the amount of 'steam produced in boilers' (tonnes steam/hour, columns W-AA in Energy Report 2018) as in the monitoring plan the amount of steam is calculated using the temperature, pressure and corresponding enthalpy values for each of the boilers.
b) include the formulae for the ratio of the amount of steam produced per amount of bagasse burned (tonnes of steam/tonnes of bagasse) shown (e.g. Energy Report 2018 AB3, AC3, AD3, AE3, AF3).
c) reflect how the total amount of steam for years 2018 (839,631.56 tonnes steam), 2019 (876,862.26 tonnes steam) and 2020 (908,600.04 tonnes steam) shown in BL Step 1.1. sheet are calculated.
d) clarify the amount of emission reductions equal zero for the calculation of Baseline emissions due to disposal of biomass residues in year y (t CO2e) (BEBR,y) shown in C14, D14 and E14, sheet 'BL Step 6 Results BL'
e) make sure that all the calculations shown in the spreadsheet can be traceable and the application of the formulae are explained.
