The DOE is requested to further clarify how it has complied with the CDM Validation and Verification Standard for Project Activities, version 03.0, paragraph 371, in reporting that the calibration of the Annubar geothermal flow meters has been conducted at the frequency specified by the registered monitoring plan.
The DOE is requested to further explain how it has verified that the calibration of the Annubar flowmeters complies with the "biannual" frequency of calibration as required by the registered monitoring plan (PDD, p36), submitted monitoring report (version 3, page 18) and verification report (page 16) considering that the gap between calibrations is longer than 6 months.
E.g. The last 3 calibrations dates for Train TR-17A, serial number 0020194, are on 19 May 2017, 07 February 2018 and 10 October 2018. From the calibration dates it can be seen that there is a gap higher than 3 months in which the Annubar flowmeter was not calibrated during the requesting monitoring period. Specifically, from 1 January to 6 February 2018 and from 7 August to 9 October 2018. Similar situation is observed for Train TR-17B and Train TR-18.
In doing so please further justify how the verification follows the requirements of paragraphs 366-367 of the CDM VVS for Project Activities, (version 3).
