Issue: The DOE is requested to explain how it concluded that the project has been implemented as described in the PDD, in particular as the type of the burner and the capacity of the flare system mentioned in the monitoring period differ from that of in the registered PDD.

2: Scope: The verification report does not provide a conclusion on the verified amount of emission reductions achieved and/or determine that calculations of baseline emissions, project emissions and leakage as appropriate have been carried out in accordance with the formulae and methods described in the monitoring plan and the applied methodology document. Issue: The DOE is requested to explain how it has verified the emission reductions calculation, in particular how the provision in paragraph 34 of the applied methodology (i.e. "... the project emissions and leakage will be deducted from the emission reductions calculated from the methane recovered and combusted, except where it can be demonstrated that the technology implemented does not increase the amount of methane produced per unit of COD removed (COD removed is the difference between the inflow COD (CODy,ww,untreated) and outflow COD (CODy,ww,treated)), compared with the technology used in the baseline.") has been complied with.
