1: Issue: With regard to the sample size of the project activity, page 39 of the monitoring report illustrates that the actual established sample size of strata 4 (i.e. 14) is lower than the calculated sample size (i.e. 16). However, the DOE has not explained how it has verified this issue and whether this lower sample size would result in a failure to meet the desired level of precision.
2: Issue: In verifying the inventory and forestry data, the DOE has applied sampling method for its verification activity. However, the DOE has not reported how it has conducted its acceptance sampling and verified the data, in accordance with paragraph 24 to 28 of the standard "Sampling and surveys for CDM project activities and programme of activities" version 4.1.
