Info Report Check
Submission incomplete:
1: The following parameter are sampled: Pn,j,x (Share of different types of organic waste); Ac,i,x (Amount of residual waste type ‘ci’ from stabilized biomass); VFCONS (Average fuel consumption per kilometre of vehicles for compost transportation). For parameters Ac,i,x and VFCONS, the DOE confirmed in verification report that the confidence/precision of maximum uncertainty range of 20% and 95% confidence level has been met been met. However, there is no information of the achieved precision in both monitoring report and verification report for all parameters above. Refer to paragraph 25(a) of Standard for Sampling and surveys for CDM project activities and programme of activities (version 08.0), and appendix 4 of Guidelines for sampling and surveys for CDM project activities and programmes of activities (version 04.0) for reliability calculation.

2: The DOE is requested to explain how it has verified the adjustment made to the period of the delayed calibration in line with paragraph 366 of VVS-PA for the following parameters:
(a) Wx (Amount of waste prevented from disposal in the landfill). The verification report mentions that in case of weigh bridge at Kozhikode plant (950094585), maximum error of 5 kg over the measured value (as resulted error was within maximum limit) is applied for the delay period, and similarly, at Mysore plant (the weighbridge 0317496/1), maximum error of 5 kg (as resulted error was less than the maximum error) is applied over the measured value. However, from the ER spreadsheet, the adjustments are not made by applying 5 kg over the measured values. Instead, the adjustment was done considering the maximum capacity of the weigh bridge. Responding to this issue, the DOE is requested to explain how the adjustment has been done;
(b) Mcompost (total quantity of compost produced in year y): (i)The verification report states that in case of weighing scale at Mysore plant, the PP has applied maximum error of 10 gm over the measured value (as the resulted error was less than maximum error). However, from the ER spreadsheet, the adjustments are not made by applying 1 gm over the measured values. Instead, they are done considering the maximum capacity of the weighing scale. Responding to this issue, the DOE is requested to explain how the adjustment has been done; (ii) Furthermore, the adjustments are also not made by applying the maximum error to each measurement each day. Instead, they are done for the aggregated weight for each day; (iii) The summation of Mcompost for site Mysore (sheet “Mcompost” cell L368) is not correct;
(c) Amount of compost that is disposed in landfill, for leakage emissions. As this is measured using the same weigh bridge, the DOE is requested to see issue (a) above; (ii) It is observed that the adjusted value in sheet “Rejects” (cell D666) is linked to a given number without any explanation.
