Scope: The verification report does not provide an assessment that all physical features of the proposed CDM project activity proposed in the registered PDD are in place and/or that the project participant has implemented and operated the proposed CDM project activity as per the registered PDD or the approved revised PDD. (VVM v.1.2 para 196)
Issue: The DOE indicated that the PP has monitored each one of the 17000 operating solar cookers as follows: 5 monitoring teams (2 persons per team) visited an average of 100 households per day during a period of 30 days in a geographical area of 1,365 Km2. Nevertheless, there is an inconsistency on how the DOE verified the PP assumptions about the number of householders monitored because with an average of 100 householders, during 30 days and 5 monitoring teams the PP can monitor only 15,000 householders and not 17,000 as indicated by the DOE. Please clarify.
