Proposed new methodologies submitted for CDM project activities

The following proposed new methodologies have been submitted to the CDM Executive Board for its review and are now open for public inputs (from 17 November to 07 December 2004):

- NM0068: "GHG emission reductions at ALUAR Aluminio Argentino"
- NM0069: "30 TPD Biodiesel Project in Andhra Pradesh, India"
- NM0070: "Conversion of existing open cycle gas turbine to combined cycle operation at Guaracachi power station, Santa Cruz, Bolivia"
- NM0071: "BOF Gas recovery at Jindal Vijayanagar Steel Limited (JVSL) and combustion for power generation and supply to Karnataka Grid, India"
- NM0072: "Mandatory Energy-Efficiency Standard for Room Air Conditioners in Ghana"
- NM0073: "Switching of fossil fuel from naphtha to natural gas at Essar Power Limited's (EpoL) generation station located at Hazira, Gujarat, India, for power generation and supply to Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) Grid and to Essar Steel Limited (ESTL)"
- NM0074: "Optimisation of Clinker use and energy conservation through technical improvement in the Ramla Cement Plant in Israel"
- NM0075: "Pansan coal mine methane utilisation and"

In accordance with the “procedures for submission and consideration of a proposed new methodology” the secretariat shall make the proposed new methodology publicly available on the UNFCCC CDM web site and invite public inputs for a period of 15 working days. Public inputs on a proposed new methodology shall be made using the “Proposed new methodology - public comment form”(F-CDM-NMpu ver3). Comments shall be forwarded to the Meth Panel at the moment of receipt and made available to the public at the end of the 15 working day period.
