UNFCCC/CDM International Photo and Video Contest 2009

The winners were recognized in a ceremony hosted by UNFCCC Executive Secretary Yvo de Boer in Copenhagen on 11 December.

The judges’ scores have been tallied in the CDM Changing Lives Photo and Video contest. This year’s contest expanded on the success of Changing Lives 2008, with the addition of a video category, in which entrants were asked to complete the statement, “People should know about this CDM project because . . .”.

Photographers, videographers and CDM project developers responded to the call for entries with dozens of the high quality submissions illustrating in still and moving images the way the CDM is changing lives for the better, while helping countries down a clean path to development.

Congratulations again to the winners, and congratulations and thank you to all of the talented entrants in this year's contest. You have truly helped to put a human face on the CDM.
