Please note that in most cases communications from project participants, such as project specific enquiries, should be sent to the project's contracted designated operational entity (DOEs). Depending on the issue, your DOE may have access to specific forms and interfaces with which to communicate with the secretariat regarding your project or related methodology.

Please know that the secretariat will not attempt to prejudge how the CDM Executive Board or the contracted DOE will interpret cases vis-à-vis existing guidelines, rules, etc.

And, due to the high number of emails received, and the very high case load handled by the secretariat, the response time for emails varies a great deal, depending on complexity and the availability of substantive officers.

For enquiries reaching beyond the framework of the established procedures and for which further regulatory guidance is needed, the response time depends on the schedule and agenda of the CDM Executive Board and its supporting panels or working groups.

We ask that you not use this contact form as a substitute for personal research on the workings of the CDM. The public, CDM stakeholders and those providing CDM services, such as on a private consultancy basis, are strongly encouraged to make use of the resources available on this website and elsewhere, before contacting the secretariat.
