Please be informed of the following updates on the UNFCCC CDM web site:


*Revised guidelines for completing the CDM-PDD, CDM-NMB and CDM-NMM*
The revised guidelines for completing the CDM-PDD, CDM-NMB and CDM-NMM agreed by the Executive Board at its nineteenth meeting, are available in the UNFCCC CDM web site.

*Approved methodologies*
The recently approved baseline and monitoring methodologies (including one consolidation) are available on the UNFCCC CDM web site.

The two approved baseline and monitoring methodologies are following:
- Approved methodology AM0022: Avoided Wastewater and On-site Energy Use Emissions in the Industrial Sector ;
- Approved consolidated methodology ACM0003: Emissions reduction through partial substitution of fossil fuels with alternative fuels in cement manufacture.

*Procedures for the revision of an approved methodology*
The procedures for the revision of an approved methodology, agreed at the nineteenth meeting of the Executive Board, are available in the UNFCCC CDM web site.

*Revised approved methodologies*
The revisions to the following approved methodologies, agreed by the Board at its nineteenth meeting, are available in the UNFCCC CDM web site.

AM0001/version 3: Incineration of HFC 23 Waste Streams
AM0009/version 2: Recovery and utilization of gas from oil wells that would otherwise be flared
AM0013/version 2: Forced methane extraction from organic waste-water treatment plants for grid-connected electricity supply

*Submission of proposed new methodologies*
Please be informed that the new round for submissions of proposed new baseline and monitoring methodologies is open until 1 June 2005.
For submissions of proposed new afforestation and reforestation baseline and monitoring methodologies the round is open until 2 June 2005.


*Please be informed that the deadline for registration as an observer to the next Executive Board meeting (EB 20) is 15 June 2004.
