Opening of the public input period for two new applicant entities

Please note that as of Monday, 2 February 2004 an opportunity to submit comments and information regarding two applicant entities is provided for: - Conestoga Rovers & Associates Limited. (CRA) - Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR) Kindly follow the link "Call for comments and information on applicant entities" under the "News" section of the UNFCCC CDM home page (http://unfccc.int/cdm). Background: In accordance with the "Procedure for accrediting operational entities by the Executive Board of the CDM" (http://cdm.unfccc.int/DOE/accrappl.html), the UNFCCC CDM web site provides for each applicant entity, over a period of 15 days, the opportunity for Parties, NGOs accredited with UNFCCC or stakeholders to provide comments or information on the applicant entity. The working day prior to the opening of the 15 days period, the secretariat informs the public using the UNFCCC CDM News facility.
