The CDM Executive Board, at it sixty-eighth meeting, agreed to launch a call for public input on an information note with a view to seeking inputs on potential options to use standardized approaches for the off-grid component of the "Tool to calculate the emission factor for an electricity system", as contained in annex 16 of the report of the 56th meeting of the Meth Panel.

Stakeholders are invited to provide their input on the Information note: Call for public inputs on the standardization of the off-grid component of the "Tool to calculate the emission factor for an electricity system".

The scope of the public input shall include but is not limited to questions included in paragraphs 7, 10 and 12 of the information note.

The call for inputs from public stakeholders was open from 23 July 2012 to 1 August 2012 (24:00 GMT).
