New regulatory framework
A new regulatory framework is being implemented. During the transitional period there are two "tracks" for validation/verification and registration/issuance aspects of CDM project activities and programme of activities (PoAs) - VVM Track and VVS Track. Click on this document for more information regarding these tracks. Regulatory documents used in one track may not be applicable to another track, or may be applicable to both tracks. The column headings are a guide to determine the correct document.

Validation and Registration Pre-registration	Documents applying to:
Validation and Registration Pre-registration	VVM Track The VVM Track refers to the process governed by all regulatory documents that have been replaced by the PS, VVS and PCP. The VVM track may be used for a limited time and in limited circumstances in accordance with the PS, VVS and PCP implementation plan. Information about when to use the VVM Track or the VVS Track is available here.	VVS Track The VVS Track refers to the process governed by the PS, VVS and PCP adopted by the CDM Executive Board at EB 65, and all new and revised guidelines and forms required to implement the PS, VVS, and PCP. The VVS Track is applicable to CDM project activities and PoAs in accordance with the PS, VVS and PCP implementation plan.
