Call for experts: CDM Accreditation Panel Member

The Board, at its eighteenth meeting, agreed that a call for experts shall be made in order to replace two outgoing members of the CDM Accreditation Panel. The Board, at its twentieth meeting, appointed one member. As no other candidate met all the qualification requirements, therefore, the Board requested the secretariat to make another call for experts. The Board also noted that the expert appointed to replace AP member shall, if possible, not come from the same region as the members that remain in office. The Board encourages, however, candidates from all regions to apply. The deadline for applications is 15 September 2005 @17.00 GMT. Experts wishing to apply shall apply using the application interface through the UNFCCC CDM web site ( http://cdm.unfccc.int/Panels/accreditation/call_apmembers.html).
