Five calls for input launched following CDM EB66

The CDM Executive Board, at its sixty-sixth meeting agreed to launch five separate calls for public input on various matters. Please see below for information on each specific call and how to provide input.

ALL CALLS are open from from 05 March 2012 to 5 April 2012 (24:00 GMT).

1. Call for input on the draft best practices examples

The Board requested the secretariat to take into account the input received from the call when preparing the final draft of the best practices examples, which should be considered by the Board at a future meeting.

2. Call for input on the draft revised methodology SSC-II.C "Demand-side energy efficiency activities for specific technologies"

This call for input is for issues specified in annex 17 of the report of the thirty-fifth meeting of the SSC WG. The Board requested the SSC WG to take into account the inputs received from the call when preparing the final draft of the methodology to be recommended to the Board at a future meeting.

3. Call for input on the draft new methodology SSC-III.AZ "Energy efficiency and/or energy supply projects in commercial buildings"

The Board requested the SSC WG to take into account the input received from the call when preparing the final draft to be considered by the Board at a future meeting.

4. Call for input on the definition of "special underdeveloped zones"

The scope of the public input shall include but is not limited to options to simplify the definition, taking into account the availability of data at the regional and provincial level within a host country. The Board requested the SSC WG to recommend a revised definition of the underdeveloped zones at a future meeting of the SSC WG taking into account any input that will be received in response to the call.

5. Call for public input on the draft methodological tool "Upstream leakage emissions associated with fossil fuel use"

The Board requested the Meth Panel to take into account the input from the call when preparing the final draft tool to be recommended to the Board at a future meeting.
