New publication highlighting gender-friendly CDM methodologies now available

A new publication highlighting gender-friendly Clean Development Mechanism methodologies is now available online.

“CDM and Women” focuses on how certain CDM methodologies have had a beneficial impact on the lives of women and children. The publication takes a look at some of these female friendly methodologies, assesses their impacts, and shows how the secretariat is continuing to mainstream gender into the CDM process. It is hoped that this information will encourage potential developers to consider CDM when planning projects to help empower and improve women’s lives.
