Three calls for public inputs will close on Friday 18 March 2011

The Executive Board, at its fifty-ninth meeting, agreed to launch a call for public inputs on programme of activities (PoA), to seek comments on issues associated with the development and scaling-up of PoAs as a CDM project activity and its difficulties. The inputs received from this public call will serve as discussion points for a workshop to be organized by the UNFCCC secretariat, involving CDM stakeholders. The outcome of the workshop will be considered for a final recommendation to the Board at its future meetings.

The Executive Board, at its fifty-ninth meeting, further agreed to open a call for public inputs on areas and means for direct communication of relevant stakeholder groups within the registration, issuance and methodology processes and the Board. The inputs to this call will be considered in the preparation of procedures for direct communication with stakeholders and project participants for consideration of the Board at a future meeting.

The Executive Board, at its fifty-ninth meeting, also agreed to open a call for public inputs on the further expansion of the applicability of AMS-III.AJ "Recovery and recycling of materials from solid wastes" in order to explore opportunities to further expand this methodology to cover more recyclable materials. The inputs provided will be considered by the Small Scale Working Group of the Executive Board at its thirty-first meeting.

Input to these calls can be received until 18 March 2011 (24:00 GMT) at:
